Privacy Policy
Last updated August 24, 2026.
The Harbor Ledger is a static website. This policy describes exactly what happens when you visit it, and it is kept deliberately short because very little happens.
What we collect
We do not operate analytics, we do not set cookies, and we do not ask you for personal information. There are no accounts, newsletters, comment forms, or tracking pixels on this site.
What our hosting provider sees
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which records standard server request data - your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, and browser user agent - for security and abuse prevention. We do not have access to these logs as an identifiable per-visitor dataset, and we do not combine them with anything else.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com andfonts.gstatic.com). Requesting a font sends your IP address and user agent to Google, governed by Google's own privacy policy. This is the only third-party request the site makes.
The advertising units you see are placeholder creatives rendered directly in the page markup. They are not supplied by an ad server, they are not personalised, and they set no cookies. If we later enable real ad serving, this policy will be updated before that goes live, and consent controls will be added where required.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection over personal data a site holds about you. Because we hold no such data, there is nothing for us to return or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will investigate and respond.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
