About The Harbor Ledger

Founded in 1894 as a waterfront gazette, The Harbor Ledger covers business, civic life, culture, and the wider coast from its bureau in Port Meridian.

This website is a fully static digital edition built to look and behave like a working publisher property: multi-section navigation, longform article pages, section archives, and reserved advertising inventory at standard IAB sizes.

All stories on this site are original synthetic reporting written for demonstration and internal testing - not real journalism about living people or active companies. The brand, bylines, and institutions are invented.

Pages include labeled placeholder slots (leaderboard 728×90, MPU 300×250, half-page 300×600, and in-article units) so placement, viewability, and layout work can be tested without a live ad server. Each slot carries a data-ad-slot attribute for easy targeting during integration.
